Deana Marzocchi is an experienced creative professional specializing in an innovative yet traditional graphic design style. Deana is an Associate Professor and Chair of the School of Engineering & Design's Design Department at Johnson & Wales University in Providence. Deana's area of expertise is branding and print design. Academically, she takes a special interest in experiential education and has been working extensively with design students in the Design Solutions Team courses that focus on authentic learning experiences that pair students with Community Based Organizations. Another area of interest for Deana is building and expanding the curriculum of the Design department and keeping curriculum relevant and in line with industry trends. Creating partnerships with community both in the private and non-profit sector to connect JWU Design is important part of Deana's plan for the Design department. Outside of her position at JWU, Deana has freelance graphic design clients that are diversified, but her speciality is restaurant and food service marketing creatives and inspirations. Deana's creative passion spans to many mediums including painting. Her greatest joy is being the mother of two superstars and creative masters, Emma and Benjamin.
